About Me

My photo
Im a Mainline protestant minister who loves serving in multicultural and urban contexts. I'm very interested in how liberation theology and existential-humanistic psychology are applied to the praxis of pastoral care and counseling. My most profound encounters with God come as we sojourn as brothers and sisters seeking the inbreaking of God's reign, here and now.

Welcome

Well friends, I have finally immersed myself in cyber world.

This has been a challening year in Los Angeles. I am now serving the First Congregational Church of Los Angeles as the associate minister for Community Outreach.
I serve on the LAPD Rampart Clergy Council. Since Mid-Sep. we have had 15 homocides.
We have pledged to host a candle light vigil for every homicide. As often in the case, when you make a commitment you dont't fully understand what this will entail.
We have lost a three week old baby, numerous middle school and high school students, fathers and grandmothers to violence. Our candles and prayers expel the darkness of hate and violence.
Please join us as we with pray with our feet for peace in our streets.
